Wong Chuk Shan Village, Sai Kung
Wong Chuk Shan Village is located in Sai Kung Ma On Shan Country Park and is known for its rich yellow bamboo. The land is in the valley, lacking the flat land. The chung village houses are built on artificially opened terraces, including the upper back garden, the upper lane, the lower lane, the old house, the new house and the stone bud top. During the heyday, there were hundreds of villagers. There is a chung ancestral temple in the village. Wong Chuk Shan Village’s chung surname was built in the early years of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty from Guangdong Wuhua. In order to avoid pirates, they moved to Wong Chuk Shan, which is more than 300 meters high.
