Profile of LAM TSUEN Town
LAM TSUEN town is located in LAM TSUEN TAI PO in the New Territories. It is in the southeast of the Dawushan Mountains. The northwest is the Dadaoshan Mountain Peak. The northeast can lead to Taipu and Fanling. The southwest Yuelin Village connects Shigang, Yuen Long and other places to form a Funnel type, it is called the forest village. The history of the village of Lin Village opened in the Song Dynasty (AD 1287), which is more than 700 years old and consists of 26 villages. Among them, the descendants of the chung clan live in the squatter village, TONG SHEUNG TSUEN, SAN TSUEN, PING LONG, TIN LIU HA, CHAI KEK, Dagu Mountain and so on. SAN TSUEN has the surnames of chung, cheung and Chen Chan, so it has a “Three surname” co-management village affairs. The TONG SHEUNG TSUEN has been built for more than 300 years. It has a surname of chung, cheung, chan, Wu, etc., and the rest are single surnames.Now, the above villages are now listed below in detail for reference.

CHUNG UK TSUEN
CHUNG UK TSUEN is the earliest village in Lincun Town, which has a history of more than 600 years. The CHUNG UK TSUEN family originated from the public, and the eleventh grandfather was an official until the period of the Taiguo period. So far, the Zongyi Hall is still engraved with the word of ” Shi de tang”.In front of the gate, there is also a couplet of Yuhuai “Shi Cheng Tai Chuan, De Zhe Ying Chuan”, and “Shi de tang” is the earliest established private residence of LAM TSUEN, founded by Mr. Ruan Guocai.

PING LONG:
The ancestors lived in the Tingzhou Prefecture of Fujian Province and originated from the sect of the sect. The ancestor Ruiling moved to Longchuan Town, Changle, Guangdong. Due to the prosperous population, during the reign of Emperor Kangxi, Ning Yugong and his three sons moved south to San An LAM TSUEN. The son of Ning Yugong, Jiuyi Gong, is now a member of the Pinglang Village, and his descendants have been twenty-six years old.

CHAI KEK:
His ancestors moved from the south of Guangdong Wuhua Iron Furnace to San An LAM TSUEN in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties and settled in CHAI KEK. In the early years, because of the compelling livelihood, life was hard, and ethnic groups mostly depended on farming for their livelihood. In the 1950s, ethnic groups went abroad to make a living, although mainly in Britain, but their footprints spread all over the world. Every year during the Spring and Autumn Festival, villagers return from all over the world to Hong Kong to worship their ancestors. They are cautious in their pursuit of a long-term goal.

TIN LIU HA:
TIN LIU HA has been built in the village for more than three hundred years, although the villagers are all chung surnames,they have the distinction between Shangcun and Xia Cun, each with different ancestors, and their customs are slightly different.Over the past hundred years, the villagers of the two villages have been watching and helping each other, living in harmony and without distinction. So far, the population has reached more than 600 people.TIN LIU HA village originated from the branch of CHAI KEK village, so its ancestors are the same as CHAI KEK village.

LAM TSUENT:
LAM TSUENT town is surrounded by mountains and SAN TSUEN is located in the middle of LAM TSUENT.Hundreds of years ago, because it was a central area, it was more prosperous. Therefore, when the village was opened, it was accompanied by Chen and Zhang.The Chug’s children of SAN TSUEN village originated from the Ligong family, and were considered to be descendants of Ruiling Gong. Later, they moved to LAM TSUENT from Guangzhou and Changle to the south.The ancestors started their business in the old village of SAN TSUEN. Because of the heavy village work and the inadequate land use, they expanded the village business in SAN TSUEN.Nowadays, the village affairs of SAN TSUEN are jointly managed by the “Three surname” set up by the surnames of chung, Cheung and chan.

TONG SHEUNG TSUEN:
TONG SHEUNG TSUEN is located in the middle of LAM TSUENT. It was originally named TONG SHEUNG TSUEN because of fish ponds. The villagers of TONG SHEUNG TSUEN village have lived here for more than 300 years. Although there are many surnames living together, there are still many children with chung surnames. At that time, the villagers made a living from farming, and they were seeking overseas development because of insufficient farming. Afterwards, the children had many successful careers and fed back to the countryside. They built a lot of trees in the village. They turned the old fish pond in front of the village into a lotus pond. After protecting the village with wind and water trees, the environment in the village was beautiful, the air was fresh, and the mixed peanut trees made this place is happy and safely village.
