Chung Uk Tsuen, Tuen Mun

Chung Uk Tsuen is located in the northernmost part of Tuen Mun. It is the clan village of Chung’s family and belongs to the local village. Chung’s ancestors, from Dongguan to Tuen Mun Kai Village in Jiangxi Province in the late Ming Dynasty, have a history of more than 400 years. They have multiplied to the 29th century, with about 400 males.Chung Uk Tsuen, originally known as Hiroshita Wai, was named after a large area of farmland under a flood pit. Chung Uk Tsuen has an ancestral temple. The overseas Chinese school built by Chung Uk Tsuen is one of the only rural primary schools in Tuen Mun today. The villagers surnamed Chung rebuilt their ancestral temple and opened it at the end of 2009.
